Humanities
At our school, we have chosen to follow the Grammarsaurus scheme in teaching humanities. This well-structured program provides a comprehensive approach to history and geography, supporting children’s engagement with diverse cultures, historical events, and geographical understanding.
Grammarsaurus offers resources that help make complex topics accessible, memorable, and interactive for pupils. The scheme is designed to deepen critical thinking and enquiry, encouraging children to ask questions, make connections, and explore concepts that are relevant to their understanding of the world. We selected Grammarsaurus because it aligns with our commitment to fostering curiosity and independent learning, while ensuring a consistent and inclusive approach across all-year groups.
Through this scheme, we aim to provide our pupils with a well-rounded understanding of the past and present, helping them to appreciate their place in the world and develop essential skills for their futures.
